The translator did a terrible job--basically we had to redo the whole thing. - EN tenses are used throughout the file (EN prefers passives, we “hate” them and use reflexives instead.) - Typos. - EN grammar is used a lot in the file. Constructions just sound to EN and not ES. - The usual style for surveys is not used. For example, we don’t ask/say “please” in a survey because it’s understood when you enter a survey that you will answer a question (or you won’t be completing it), or the usual translations for “Strongly agree/disagree”, or not differentiating between survey/qu’re, amongst others. - Formal (usted)/informal (tú) is mixed in the same sentence quite a few times. - The usual terms for controller/processor/data officer of GDPR (our RGPD) were not used. We have a formal translation for these and it wasn’t used. - Punctuation was wrongly used (example: using colon after “example”, we use comma). - Terms weren’t correctly translated. It was like adapting EN terms
