I work as a freelance translator since 1997. Most of my experience is in technical translations, including IT, telecommunications, automotive, medical equipment, press/printing equipment products, marketing materials, training guides, etc. for companies such as Microsoft, IBM, HP, Sony, Motorola, Ericsson, Nokia, Olympus, Siemens, Oracle, etc. My experience also includes positions such as QA specialist for MILS (Microsoft International Language Service), terminologist for MILS, hardware tester, translator evaluations for many of my clients.
I am an English-Lithuanian translator with 5-year experience in translation. In June 2017, I received my Master's degree (Cum Laude) in English Linguistics and since 2014 I have been working as a translator for various translation agencies.
Russian and Lithuanian native speaker, I've been living and working in Italy for six years now, so I can speak and write Italian fluently. I also have a very good command of English. In 2012 I was admitted to Translators' Register of the Tribunal of Aosta; since then I've been doing translations and interpreting for Aosta Customs Office, Public Prosecutor’s Office, Traffic Corps and some other clients, ex. translating websites.
Currently I'm working as an in-house translator at Saipem, the Oil & Gas Company.
I have a bachelor's degree in Business Management (University of Gediminas of Vilnius).
I am also doing volunteer translations for non-profit organisations, such like Global Voices (http://globalvoicesonline.org), Mondo Agit (www.mondo-services.com) and www.freelang.net in order to use my skills for a good scope and to gain experience.
